Vocal Exercise CD

The vocal exercises are an element of the entire vocal instructional program. The application of correct tone placement as learned through practice of the exercises is geared to produce the best possible tone quality in a particular voice. Further explanation by the teacher is necessary. The transfer of this sound into language and eventually expression and interpretation must be monitored by the teacher for as many sessions as are needed to insure the automatic emission of the vowel with the connection of the breath support. After the establishment of the correct vowel placement with the breath support, the CD exercises can then serve as a daily maintenance program.

Each exercise is placed to accommodate the correct number of turns in the vibrato. The vibrato warms up the voice. The vibrato needs a continuous steady stream of spinning air to support the even production of tone. This spinning air flows from the connection of the abdominal muscles to the vocal apparatus.
